BEACHES, HOTELS & SWIMWEAR

Something to look foward to this summer....MERCEDEZ BENZ FASHION WEEK! Yes, every summer in mid July one of the biggest fashion events is held here in beautiful Miami. Full of celebrities, bathingsuits, beaches, and hotels. It is one event that a true fashionista cannot miss. I am extremely excited to possibly attend as many of the events that I can. This fashion week, unlike the one in New York, specializes in swimwear by designers from all around the world. The collections shown will be for their upcoming 2012 collections, great to see what the new trends will be!

WHITE IS THE NEW BLACK

The closer it is to graduation time, the more I have to do. I'm back for good! It's sometimes hard to manage time when you juggle an internship, work, and school but oh well, it's part of growing up right?! Anyways, I've been searching around for different graduation dress and graduation party ideas...I've narrowed down to a couple. White is the new black, and i love it. It's summer and here in Miami, white is perfect for this hot weather. It gives anyone a fresh just-out-of the shower look. If it is accessorized well, you'd be on to talk about ;) Here are some of my favorite Little White Dresses thanks to BCBG . Enjoy....

DAY TO DAY

I am surrounded by this beauty as I intern at Anthropologie on a day-to-day basis. It's rewarding to be able to work in such a creative and colorful atmosphere. Their May catalog is to die for....

Thank to me, my mom now owns this dress

JAWDROPPING

Zara by far has created one of the most beautiful collections by far that I have ever seen. Perfect for Miami....Too much for words, here are some of my favorite looks.

NEON

J. Crew Summer 2011 RTW
It was hard, for me to just pick one outfit, but JCREW is doing big things this Summer. As I walked by their store window earlier on today, the bright neons matched with neutrals caught my eye. J Crew is somewhere where my mom shops alot, not anymore! I see myself going in sometime soon and "scooping up" some Summer Brights for my upcoming adventures.

Anthropologie

Being a Fashion Merchandiser at the Miami International University of Art & Design, we are recommended to intern with a company that interests you the most. Of course, me, being a hands-on person. I decided to work my way through a Assistant Visual Merchandising position at a nearby Anthropologie (who doesn't love that store?) Here I show you some pictures I've had the time to upload onto my computer. I've styled body forms, and made over sized flowers. I can't wait to show you more...

sorry for the glare

accessories, skirt, pants, tops, all Anthro

Jade ---more ethnic feel

Saturday night out or Sunday brunch

Hello Poppy...

Pictures are better than words

It's been a while since I've blogged, updated, taken the time....you know what I mean. It's the beginning of the summer of 2011 and for many, just like me, it means one thing. GRADUATION! I never thought the day would come where I would say I was officially a Fashion Merchandising Graduate, and feeling accomplished. The easiest way to update you on happenings, travels, and events is well....through pictures. enjoy!
I was here :) Great Wall of China

Art Basel, Miami

I experienced Swedish House Mafia.

I was cold in Times Square, NYC

I was inspired by The Addams Family

I ate fatty fair food

....and I relaxed.
